Renowned for their precision, reliability, and consistency, these electrodes guarantee outstanding weld quality, smooth arc stability, and exceptional resistance to heat and corrosion. They’re a go-to choice for critical fabrication and maintenance tasks where long-lasting durability and structural integrity are a must. With a commitment to advanced production standards and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, Niazi Stainless is dedicated to supporting industries that rely on trustworthy stainless steel welding consumables.
The AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes are primarily made from a stabilized austenitic stainless steel alloy, featuring elements like chromium (about 19–21%), nickel (roughly 9–11%), and niobium (columbium) to enhance stability. The inclusion of niobium significantly boosts resistance to carbide precipitation when exposed to high temperatures, which in turn improves corrosion resistance. On the mechanical side, these electrodes offer high tensile strength, good creep resistance, and excellent ductility, making them perfect for welding stabilized stainless steels. Their rutile coating ensures easy slag removal, a smooth weld bead finish, and stable arc performance, even in challenging or out-of-position welding scenarios.

These electrodes offer exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular corrosion. Typically available in diameters of 1/16″ to 1/8″ (1.6 mm to 3.2 mm), they provide a lighter coating, facilitating easier welding with smooth, clean welds and minimal spatter.
Known for high corrosion resistance, especially in harsh environments, these electrodes come in diameters of 1/8″ to 5/32″ (3.2 mm to 4.0 mm). The heavy coating enhances arc stability and provides a thicker slag layer, offering better protection and ease of removal for cleaner welds.
These electrodes deliver superior corrosion resistance and are ideal for high-temperature applications. Typically available in diameters of 3/32″ to 1/8″ (2.4 mm to 3.2 mm), they are designed for shielded arc welding, ensuring stable arcs and good weld integrity in challenging conditions.
We guarantee complete transparency and top-notch quality assurance for our AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes. All orders are accompanied by necessary documents such as a commercial invoice, packing list, fumigation certificate, heat treatment chart, and an NABL-approved lab test report. We also provide a Material Test Certificate as per EN 10204/3.1b, PMI Test Certificate, 100% radiography test report, and Third-Party Inspection Certificate. Our documentation is very well arranged to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
AWS Class E347-16 Electrodes are extensively used for welding stabilized stainless steels like the 347 and 321 grades in industries that demand reliable, heat-resistant welds. They’re commonly found in chemical processing plants, petrochemical facilities, food processing equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. These electrodes excel in environments that face high temperatures and corrosive substances, minimizing the risk of intergranular corrosion. Their ability to maintain stability and strength during thermal cycling makes them an excellent choice for demanding applications.
